Single-vehicle crash on Don Tyson Parkway kills 2

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Two men were killed in a single-vehicle crash on West Don Tyson Parkway on July 31, according to a Springdale Police Department (SPD) crash report. 

According to the report, the driver of a Chevy Traverse was traveling westbound on Don Tyson Parkway around 7:45 a.m. The driver reportedly drove off the road and collided with the concrete retaining wall. 

SPD reported that the driver was an 83-year-old man from Fayetteville and the passenger was a 52-year-old man from Springdale. Both victims were unnamed on the crash report. 

The report said the roads were dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.
