ARKANSAS POST, Ark. — A small craft advisory was issued for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River on Tuesday, Nov. 19, by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Officials said the recent heavy rainfall in East Oklahoma and Arkansas is causing the river to have strong currents, which can carry large debris. According to USACE, this poses a risk for small crafts.
