SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Springdale Water Utilities alerted its customers to a possible scam involving people trying to pass as their employees wanting to gain access to homes under the guise of testing the purity of water.
The Springdale Police Department shared the post from April 13 on Facebook, urging residents to call the police if this happened to them.
According to Springdale Water Utilities' original post, they will never go into people's homes to test their water. They also emphasized that if someone is not easily identifiable as one of their workers either by a badge, shirt, or vehicle then they are not employed by them.
