BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — After Friday's storms, outages were nearly resolved in Arkansas and Oklahoma on Sunday, Aug. 18, around 5 p.m.
However, another round of storms created more outages on Sunday around 6 p.m. The storms caused downed power lines, broken power poles, transmission structure damage and more.
Outages are still down as of Monday from a peak of about 31,000 late Friday night.
As of 10 p.m. on Monday, only 100 customers in Scott County were still experiencing outages after weekend storms.
When will I get my power back on?
OG&E said 600 of its operations personnel began restoring service to homes and businesses. Additional crew members will be added and will work around the clock to restore power. As of noon, a restoration time has not been estimated, but 5NEWS will provide an update when it is available.
