FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A tractor-trailer overturned on I-49 in Fayetteville on Friday, Oct. 20 at around 12:43 p.m. impacting all northbound traffic, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT).
The tractor-trailer spilled sand on the roadway making it even more difficult to clear the scene.
Traffic was rerouted through Wedington Drive. At 2 p.m., the scene was still being worked on by crews.
The road was cleared by 3:13 p.m.
