BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart's 11th Annual Open Call kicks off on Sept. 24. This event is an open call for small businesses across the country to pitch their products to be sold by Walmart. The products could be sold either in-store or online.

During the two-day event, small business owners will have 30 minutes to pitch their products to Walmart. To qualify, the products must be "made, grown, or assembled in the U.S."

Over 500 businesses were invited to pitch their products at the event this year.

Walmart said investing in these businesses is part of their commitment to "strengthening American jobs" which supports over 750,000 jobs in the U.S.

"Over the full course of Walmart's $350 billion commitment to U.S. manufacturing, Open Call will provide more than 9,000 opportunities for entrepreneurs to become Walmart suppliers," Walmart said.
