MADISON COUNTY, Ark. — A water rescue was reported in Madison County on Nov. 4, 2024, following severe storms.
According to the Forum/Alabam Fire Department (AFD), at around 8:24 p.m., the Huntsville Fire Department responded to Withrow Springs State Park regarding campers stuck in flood waters.
The report states crews were able to make it safely to rescue the campers onto higher ground.
"Be cautious when driving, turn around, and don’t drown!" said AFD.
