Van Buren's first-ever Whataburger opens

It's pronounced "WAT-ER-BRR-GRR," the restaurant confirmed.

VAN BUREN, Ark. — Van Buren's first Whataburger officially opened on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

The new fast-food restaurant is located at 1716 Fayetteville Road.

This makes it the second Whataburger in the River Valley. The first one opened in November 2022 on Pheonix Avenue in Fort Smith.

The fast-food chain is expected to operate with its usual 24-hour service according to its website. The dine-in lobby hours, however, will be 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., the website says.

The website does not show a curbside or delivery service at this time.

Also, to those completely new to the restaurant, it's pronounced "WAT-ER-BRR-GRR," the restaurant confirmed
