Results: 2024 Oklahoma primary runoff and special election

There were items for residents of Poteau, Gore, and District 2 of LeFlore County.

OKLAHOMA, USA — Voters headed back to the polls for a primary runoff and special election in Oklahoma on Aug. 27. 

Not each resident in LeFlore and Sequoyah counties had items or candidates to vote on. However, there were items for residents of Poteau, Gore, and District 2 of LeFlore County. 

Polls closed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Here are the results:

Poteau

Granting franchise to Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E), keeping them as an electric provider for the next 25 years

  • For: 85% (308 votes)
  • Against: 15% (55 votes)

All precincts have reported as of 7:50 p.m.

Gore

Passing a Gore Public Schools bond, allocating money to rebuild most of the elementary

  • For: 67% (344 votes)
  • Against: 33% (172 votes)

All precincts have reported as of 8 p.m.

LeFlore County

County Commissioner for District 2

  • Josh Blaylock: 55% (545 votes)
  • Jesse Ingle: 45% (446 votes)

All precincts have reported as of 8 p.m.
