LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Territory of Arkansaw was created on July 4, 1819, and was admitted into the U.S. as the State of Arkansas on June 15, 1836.
Today, on the state's 188th birthday, well wishes from Arkansas lawmakers are pouring in.
