BRANSON, Mo. — The U.S. Navy Blue Angels have been selected for an air show performance in Branson, Missouri, slated for next year.

According to a release from the Branson Wings of Pride Air Show, the Blue Angels' inaugural flight is scheduled for Aug. 30 and 31 in 2025 at the Branson Airport.

Branson Mayor Larry Milton said that the performance "adds even more credibility to the Branson pillars of faith, family, flag, and fun."

"We are only beginning to get our arms around the potential magnitude of what promises to be a great event,” Milton said. “The aerobatic maneuvering of skill and teamwork of the legendary Blue Angels will be on full display in our Branson skies.

The demonstration will include six F/A-18 Super Hornets in the group's iconic blue and yellow, flying nearly the speed of sound and performing maneuvers throughout the sky.

The U.S. Marine Corps C-130 Hercules "Fat Albert" support craft will also be present.

“We are excited beyond belief to host the U.S. Navy Blue Angels at our first air show in Branson,” said Kerry Floyd, Executive Director of Wings of Pride Air Shows, which is producing the event. “The Blue Angels are known the world over for their high energy and precision flying.”

"With the Blue Angels as our headliner, we anticipate some very special vintage aircraft, the world’s most accomplished civilian aerobatic pilots, and additional military aircraft, that is building what will be one of the top lineups in North America in 2025,” Floyd added.

Tickets will be available through the show's website beginning in September.
