Raised trailer slams into overhead sign on I-35 in Oklahoma, stunning onlookers, stalling traffic

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reportedly had to call a crew with a crane to get the trailer down.

ARDMORE, Okla. — On Aug. 27, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol posted a shocking picture of a raised trailer standing almost straight up after colliding with the overhead signs on Interstate 35 near Ardmore.

"It appears the driver was raising his trailer as he was going down I-35 and didn't know it until it hit the sign and ripped it off his truck," the post reads. A wrecking crew with a crane was deployed to get the trailer down.

The crash reportedly stopped morning traffic, but no injuries were reported.
