FORT SMITH, Ark. — All over the area, we've been seeing tributes to health care workers working on the front line during this COVID-19 pandemic.
UAFS placed a giant mask on the lion statue on Waldron Road to pay tribute to healthcare workers.
They posted about the tribute this week on social media saying,
"To the healthcare professionals who keep us safe: As you drive down Waldron Road, we hope Numa will remind you that you are an inspiration to us all. We are proud to have you in our community and grateful for your hard work. Not all heroes wear capes, some wear masks."
