Festivals, events in Arkansas celebrating the Great American Solar Eclipse
With all of Arkansas being impacted by the solar eclipse in some form, cities are putting a hold on the normal day-to-day and taking advantage of the historic event.
While many people are planning to view the Great American Solar Eclipse in the Natural State on April 8, some haven't fully planned their day.
Arkansas officials anticipate an influx of up to 1.5 million visitors from all over the United States. Although not every part of Arkansas is in the path of totality, much of the state will see at least 90% totality for the historic event.
