Arkansas Razorback forward Trevon Brazile entering NBA Draft

Arkansas forward Trevon Brazile announced on Monday that he has officially declared for the 2024 NBA Draft.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas forward Trevon Brazile announced on Monday that he has declared for the 2024 NBA Draft.

The Razorback forward shared his excitement in a post online, sharing that it's "always been a dream of [his] to play in the NBA."

Brazile and the Hogs saw their fair share of struggles throughout the season, as the forward averaged 8.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game for the Razorbacks —  Arkansas finished the season under .500 with a record of 16-17.

The year prior, he had a much more productive year before suffering season-ending ACL injury. In the 2022-23 season, the Springfield, Missouri native averaged 11.8 points and 6.0 rebounds in only nine games.

It's been a whirlwind of an offseason for the Razorbacks as they now have 0 returning scholarship players on the roster — every player from last year has either exhausted their eligibility or entered the transfer portal.

Currently, the only scholarship player set to be on the team in the 2024-25 season is Isaiah Elohim, a true freshman signee from Chatsworth, California.

Brazile's announcement comes less than 24 hours after rumors began swirling that John Calipari is reportedly departing from Kentucky and finalizing a deal to become the new head coach for the Razorbacks.

If hired, Calipari would replace former Razorback head coach Eric Musselman who left Arkansas less than a week ago to become the new head coach at USC.
