HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — HOT SPRINGS, Ark - The Greenwood girls basketball team is coming back home adding some more bling to their collection.
Greenwood - 77, Vilonia - 51
Greenwood defeated Vilonia in the state title game last season as well.
Greenwood jumped out with a 27-15 lead in the first quarter. Vilonia was able to cut the lead to nine early in the third but Greenwood would end the quarter up by 18.
The Lady Bulldogs had four players in double digits in points. Senior Brooklyn Woolsey led with 21 points. Anna Trusty and Kylah Pearcy were right behind with 18 each.
Greenwood was also in the double digits in points off of turnovers with 13, in the paint with 34, second chance points with 10 and fast break points with 16.
Greenwood finishes the season 28-4 overall.
