ARKANSAS, USA — Cameron Massey's play with Northside High School was voted Yarnell's Sweetest Play of Week Five! He took a hit, spun away, and made a long touchdown at Friday night's game.
Massey received 1,002 votes and 73.46% of the overall votes.
During high school football season, 5NEWS partners with Yarnell's Premium Ice Cream to showcase local players and the best plays under the Friday night lights.
Every week, there will be several moments from different games up for nomination and you will decide the winner.
The 5NEWS sports team watches games each week and selects four plays for y'all to vote on. The winning team will receive a $200 donation to their school's booster club courtesy of Yarnell's!
Sweetest Play Week Five Nominees
- Elkins: Jaquae Walden's long touchdown run (1.17%)
- Northside: Cameron Massey takes a hit, spins away, and goes for a long touchdown (73.46%)
- Van Buren: Cameron Keller gets some help from his lineman to break a long touchdown (20.45%)
- Farmington: Ayden Lester connects with Dawson Keaton, who comes back to get it to take it to the house (4.91%)
