Bentonville Bike Fest returns for its fourth year, offering races, rides, contests, music, and more

The weekend-long celebration of bicycles will take place at Ole Applegate Farm from Friday, May 24 through Sunday, May 26.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Bentonville Bike Fest is rolling back into town for the fourth year. The weekend-long celebration of bicycles will take place at Ole Applegate Farm, located off SW 2nd St. in Bentonville. It will open to the public at noon on Friday, May 24.

The festivities will continue Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May, 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The 2024 Bike Fest will bring an expanded expo, races, rides, contests, music, and entertainment for the whole family.

“You’ll see amazing things,” founder and CEO Kenny Belaey said. “You'll see people flying in the air on their bikes, doing some backflips. Then on the other side of the field, you have bands playing, and then you see trail riders doing stuff on boulders and jumping over rocks and stuff. Then you have 160 vendors, [and] you can try bikes out.”

Belaey added that you don’t have to be an experienced cyclist to enjoy the festival; there’s something for everyone.

“I tried to create something that if you’re a 2-year-old or if you're a 99-year-old, you'll still come and enjoy,” Belaey said. “It’s very family-focused, but it's also for the diehard, really professional expert riders that can also go check out the latest technology.”

General admission is free. Tickets can be obtained on the festival website. Upon arrival at the festival, staff will scan tickets at the gate and give guests wristbands that are good for the whole weekend.
