Ozark United FC, the soccer club planned for Rogers, announced on Dec. 12 that it is under contract for a new stadium site in the Rogers Entertainment District.

The decision reportedly comes after community focus groups and internal research concluded that the original 11.5-acre location was not big enough to "meet fan expectations for an enhanced game day experience."

"Our fans and stakeholders have been clear about their aspirations for this club," said co-founder Chris Martinovic, who went on to say the new site will prioritize accessibility, parking, and opportunities for future expansion.

The location for the new plans was not immediately given, but Ozark United said it is close to I-49, within the Pinnacle Hills area in Rogers.

"We are grateful to the Hunt family for their generosity and support in providing the initial site in Pinnacle Hills," said Warren Smith, co-founder of Ozark United FC. "Their partnership was instrumental in getting us to this point, and we remain grateful for their role in helping bring professional soccer to Northwest Arkansas. This pivot represents an exciting step forward in our journey."

Two months prior to the location announcement, Ozark United FC unveiled its official branding and logo, meant to represent the special qualities of Northwest Arkansas, including the iconic landscape and cultural history.

"We are thrilled to announce Ozark United FC as a brand that embodies the values and heart of this incredible community," said Smith. "From the start, it has been about creating something that represents the people and brings everyone together under one banner."
