ROGERS, Ark. — During a special unveiling on Oct. 3, USL Arkansas officially revealed its long-anticipated team name and brand.
The team will be known as Ozark United FC and will represent men's professional soccer in Northwest Arkansas, according to organizers.
"Ozark United FC reflects the unity, diversity, and passion that define the region, emphasizing the collective spirit that will drive the team’s success on and off the field," USL Arkansas said in a release. "The brand embodies the region's natural beauty, deep-rooted community spirit, and a commitment to unite the communities of Northwest Arkansas all of which were learned focuses for the club through extensive community involvement."
USL Arkansas has been gathering feedback since the announcement was first made in 2023 and said that this feedback from the community "shaped the team's identity and vision."
On top of "tens of thousands of pieces of feedback" gathered from online surveys, USL Arkansas conducted nine focus groups with a total of 36 people from the area from all different backgrounds, as well as 16 community listening sessions and thousands of one-on-one conversations with future fans, the release said.
USL Arkansas said that the community feedback was essential to the direction of the club.
"By actively engaging with the community, the club ensured that the brand truly belongs to the people of the region, reflecting their pride and deep connection to the game," USL Arkansas said.
"We are thrilled to announce Ozark United FC as a brand that embodies the values and heart of this incredible community," said Warren Smith, co-founder of USL Arkansas. "From the start, it has been about creating something that represents the people and brings everyone together under one banner."
Co-founder Chris Martinovic added, "The input from our fans has been essential, and Ozark United FC captures that essence of togetherness that makes Northwest Arkansas so special. We couldn’t be more excited to unveil this brand and begin this journey with our supporters."
The team's branding, including its crest, represent the special qualities of Northwest Arkansas, including the iconic landscape and cultural history.
According to the release, Ozark United FC celebrates the "values of authenticity, commitment to excellence, passion, compassion, and belonging" in Northwest Arkansas.
The club's crest is made up of symbols representing the Ozarks and some of the notable cities in Northwest Arkansas.
A 5,000+ seat stadium is in the process of development on the corner of Bellview Road and S 41st Street in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers off of New Hope. The land where the rezoning was approved is about 11.5 acres, USL said.
Officials with USL Arkansas say they are partnering with local community leaders and authorities to develop the stadium, with a plan to reach out directly to future fans about suggestions and thoughts on what they want out of a match-day experience.
Ozark United FC will kick off its inaugural season in 2026, and USL Arkansas said it will release more details in the coming months.
