FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The 9th ranked Missouri Tigers came to Razorback stadium to renew the Battle Line Rivalry with the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Mizzou got the ball to start the game and were only able to come away with one first down. Razorbacks then got the ball less than a minute after the game started.

A couple unsuccessful screen passes and a sack later and Arkansas was forced to give the ball right back to Brady Cook and the Tigers offense.

Missouri running back Cody Schrader had a big second down run to get the Hogs inside the 20. The Tigers would the face a 4th and an inch from the 6 yard line where QB Brady Cook would run it for a gain of 4 and a first down. The next play Schrader would punch it in to give the Tigers a 7-0 lead with 9:12 to go in the first quarter.

The Hogs got the ball back and started at their own 25 looking to match Mizzou. The very first play, KJ Jefferson took a designed QB run for 20 yards but would fumble on the play and the Tigers recovered at the Arkansas 45 yard-line. Jefferson would be hurt on the play. Back up QB Jacolby Criswell started to warm up.

The Tigers would drive pretty easily inside the 20, with the help of a 3rd and 7 conversion. But a stop on 3rd and short would bring out Harrison Mevis who would drill a short field goal to put Mizzou up 10-0.

Criswell would now get his first real action of the season, but wouldn't get anything going and the Hogs went three and out and forced to punt. A great punt but the Tigers inside their own 15 at the 14 yard-line where they would take over looking to blow this game wide open.

After a big play from Cook to Wide Receiver Luther Burden III, the Tigers couldn't get much more and were forced to punt at their own 48. Isaiah Sategna called for a fair catch at the 8 yard-line and that's where Criswell would come in for his second drive.

That's where the first quarter would end. Hogs trailed 10-0.

What appeared to be another 3 and out by Arkansas turned into a first down due to a facemask call on a Missouri defender that moved the Hogs to the 28. Criswell started to get going from there with a 7 yard run followed by a 7 yard completion for another first down. But that's all they'd be able to get on the drive as they would once again be forced to punt from their own 45 yard-line.

Mizzou would take over at the 17. They would get one first down before punting it back. Razorback DB Hudson Clark was able to tip the ball almost intercepting it on the third down. The hogs got the ball back at their own 22.

However, nothing would come from it and the Hogs would punt again. Mizzou started the drive with two big runs by Schrader to get them inside to the Hogs 15 yard-line,  What looked like a stop on 3rd and 12, a roughing the passer call gave Mizzou a first and goal from the 8.

That's where it got ugly. Fights broke out and there were 4 flags on the field. Eric Gregory and Zach Williams were ejected for the Hogs and Tristan Wilson for Missouri was ejected as well. Mizzou then had a second and goal from the 3. Brady Cook walked into the end zone to put the Tigers up 17-0 with 5:35 to go until halftime.

Criswell came back in hoping to finally get the Hogs on the board. But a couple sacks ended the drive quickly and Arkansas Punter Max Fletcher came out once again. A blindside block on the punt put Mizzou back to the 27.

The drive didn't get off to a good start for Arkansas as a horse-collar tackle moved the Tigers up near mid field. The Schrader ran for a huge gain all the way to the Hogs 2 yard-line. A false start and 5 yard loss on a jet sweep backed them up to 3rd and goal at the 12. They couldn't convert and were forced to kick another field goal in which was drilled once again by Mevis. Hogs trailed by 20.

The Hogs were content going to the locker room by running out the half. They trailed 20-0 going into halftime.

Hogs would get the ball to start the second half desperate to put points on the board. Jacolby Criswell was still in at QB for Arkansas. The third play of the drive a strip sack recovered by Mizzou would give them the ball back in plus territory. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty backed them up to the 38 however, and that's where they would start.

A defensive pass interference on 3rd down would give Mizzou the ball inside the 20, then Brady Cook would find his tight end Brett Norfleet for a 17 yard Touchdown. Missouri led the Hogs 27-0, 11:43 left in the third.

The Razorbacks muffed the kick off and The Tigers jumped on it at the eleven yard-line. That's where Mizzou would take over, 1st and 10.  The very first play Cook would find Norfleet again for an 11 yard TD. 34-0 Missouri.

The Hogs took over at the 25 once again, but another 3 and out gave Missouri the ball back.

After a Missouri punt, another strip sack would be picked up by a Mizzou D-Linemen and ran in for 6. Missouri went up 41-0.

The end of the 3rd The Hogs trailed 41-0.

Finally, with 11:35 left, Criswell finds Andrew Armstrong for an 8 yard Touchdown to put the hogs on the board. Hogs still trailed 41-7.

The next Hogs drive RB Dominique Johnson would have a big run to set up first and goal for the Razorbacks and Isaiah Augustave would finish the job for the second TD of the 4th quarter. Hogs trailed 41-14.

We will end this article on that positive note for the Hogs, as they end a disappointing season with a 48-14 loss to the Missouri Tigers.
