Arkansas-UAB | Start time, how to watch

After a heartbreaking 39-31 loss in double OT to Oklahoma State, Arkansas looks to get back on track against UAB in their first home game at Razorback Stadium.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas Razorback Football is making its season home debut at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium against The University of Alabama - Birmingham (UAB) this Saturday. This will be one more test before they go into SEC play against Auburn on Sept. 21.

The Hogs are coming off of a devastating 39-31 loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys in double overtime where turnovers down the stretch appeared to cost them the game.

Now, Arkansas has a new opportunity this week against UAB, 1-1, who won against Alcorn State and lost last week to Louisiana-Monroe, 32-6.

The Blazers are averaging 23.5 points per game in their two games played. Quarterback Jacob Zeno has thrown 382 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions so far this season. UAB's leading receiver is Kam Shanks. So far, he has 116 total yards on 10 receptions and has been Zeno's top target.

On the other hand, their defense has given up an average of 19.5 points per game. The Blazers' best player so far this year has been safety Sirad Bryant with 18 total tackles, seven of which have been solo tackles.

The Hogs open the game as 24.5-point favorites behind their offense. The team is averaging over 50 points per game led by Taylen Green, who is averaging 322.5 passing yards per game, completing 61.8% of his passes, and has 149 rushing yards with five total touchdowns.

Utah transfer Ja'Quinden Jackson has been the Hogs' leading rusher with 250 yards on 32 carries and five touchdowns so far.

As for defense, they are allowing just under 20 points per game. The Razorback's defense is led by Xavian Sorey with 15 total tackles, one sack, and three tackles for loss on the year.

The Hogs will kickoff against UAB on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at Razorback Stadium. Fans can watch the game on the SEC Network.
