FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Razorbacks baseball team have set themselves up for continued success well into the future by bringing home the 18th best signing class of 2024 according to Perfect Game's recruiting rankings.
This is far from the first time that the Hogs have appeared on that list, in fact, it marks the ninth straight year they have snagged a spot in Perfect Game's top 20.
This year's class consists of 19 players: 10 pitchers, four outfielders, three infielders and two catchers.
Of the 19 signees seven of them come from the Natural state: RHP Tag Andrews (Maumelle HS), RHP Kel Busby (Pulaski Academy), RHP Eli Crecelius (Valley View HS), RHP Lance Davis (Valley View HS), RHP Steele Eaves (Lonoke HS), RHP Ross Felder (Har-Ber HS), C Carson Willis (P27 Academy).
“As a staff, we’re thrilled about these young men choosing to make Baum-Walker Stadium their home," said Nate Thompson, Arkansas’ recruiting coordinator in the press release announcing the signings. “They’re hardworking and talented competitors who are passionate about Arkansas and will strive to build upon the foundation of success in the program. We can’t wait to see them in the Cardinal and White next fall!”
As for the season, the Hogs will begin play February 16 at home in a four-game series against James Madison.
