Arkansas women's basketball selected to play in first round of WBIT

This is the sixth straight postseason qualification under Mike Neighbors and the 27th qualification in the University of Arkansas' history.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas women's basketball team has been selected to play in the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT), joining 31 other teams.

The Hogs' at-large selection comes after an 18-14 season.

This is the Razorback's sixth straight postseason qualification under Mike Neighbors and the 27th qualification in the University of Arkansas' history.

The Razorbacks will take on No. 3 seed Tulsa for the opening round on Thursday, March 21, at Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa. Arkansas will have a 24-3 edge over the Golden Hurricane with a five-game winning streak. When the Razorbacks took on Tulsa last, the Hogs took home a 79-70 win.

If the Hogs win Thursday's game, they will take on the winner of the No. 2 seed game between Washington and Georgetown, which will take place on Sunday, March 24.

Following the second round, the quarterfinals will be on Thursday, March 28. The last four standing teams will travel to Indianapolis for the semifinals and championship game at Butler University's Hinkle Fieldhouse.

All preliminary games, including the first and second rounds and quarterfinals, will be streamed on ESPN+. The semifinals will be on ENPU on April 1 at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., and the championship game will be on ESPN2 on April 3 at 6 p.m.
