FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas — Arkansas women's soccer (14-2-2) is heading back to the NCAA tournament.
The Razorbacks earned the number 2 seed in the tournament and will face Oklahoma State (14-4-3) in the first round. The winner will face the California/Pepperdine winner in the second round.
This is the eighth meeting between the Razorbacks and the Pokes. The last meet up was in 2014 in Fayetteville, where Arkansas won 2-1.
Arkansas is the top scoring team in the country averaging about three goals a game. The Razorbacks were knocked out of the SEC tournament in the semifinal round by Texas.
Arkansas and Oklahoma State will be in action Friday at 6:30 p.m. The championship match is scheduled for December 9th in Cary, North Carolina.
