This is the Razorbacks first series win over the Tigers in six years.
This is also back-to-back top 15 series wins for Arkansas. The Razorbacks took two of three against No. 3 Georgia last weekend.
Cylie Halvorson and Carter knocked in back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning to give Arkansas a 2-1 lead. Halvorson and Hannah Gammill both went 2-of-3 from the plate.
Morgan Leinstock went 6.2 innings allowing one run on five hits while striking out seven.
Arkansas travels to face No. 25 South Carolina for a three-game series set to begin on Friday. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. on the SEC Network.
