According to Pete Roussel at coachingsearch.com., Arkansas assistant coach Taver Johnson is leaving to take a job at Purdue.
Johnson coached cornerbacks in 2013 under Bret Bielema and coached linebackers in 2012 under John L. Smith.
For a brief period of time in the spring of 2012 Johnson took over head coaching duties when Bobby Petrino was on administrative leave.
He would be the third assistant coach to leave the Hogs in the last month. Defensive coordinator Chris Ash left for Ohio State. Defensive line coach Charlie Partridge became the head coach at Florida Atlantic.
