BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The city of Bentonville announced that construction has begun on its extension of the Razorback Greenway to include trails near the new Crystal Bridges expansion and a new pedestrian bridge.
The improvements will provide upgraded access to the Razorback Greenway and the All-American Mountain Bike trails near the museum.
A “multi-modal” pedestrian bridge will also be built over A Street, according to a release by the city. The bridge will include separate sides for the Razorback Greenway and the All-American Mountain Bike trails.
Construction of the “pedestrian and mountain bike bridge” began last week, overseen by Trailblazers, a nonprofit that develops multi-use trails.
Trail improvements are made with support from the members of the Walton family.
