JOHNSON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — A man died after swerving off the side of the road on Oct. 3, according to the Arkansas State Police (ASP).

ASP reports that Phillip Porter, 58, from Hartman, was driving a 2001 Honda Civic south on County Road 2243 around 11 a.m. when his car ran off the side of the road and hit a tree.

There were no other vehicles or people connected to the crash, but 5NEWS will update this article as more information becomes available.
