Last four northbound exits on I-49 to be changed by ARDOT

ARDOT says the change is to correlate the exit numbers with correct log mile destinations.

BENTON COUNTY, Ark. — Four exit numbers in Benton County will be updated on I-49 North, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT).

The change is to correlate exit numbers with the correct log mile destinations.

ARDOT says the process of changing the exit numbers will result in planned lane closures in Benton County.

Beginning Monday, May 15, some northbound lanes will be closed so crews can update the exit numbers along the Bella Vista Bypass.

The changes are as follows:

  • Exit 93 will become Exit 91
  • Exit 99 will become Exit 97
  • Exit 102 will become Exit 100
  • Exit 104 will become Exit 102

ARDOT crews will update the exit signs during the day and say that work is expected to be completed on Wednesday, May 17.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area. Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage, according to ARDOT.
