Bridge repairs require nightly lane closures on I-49 in Rogers

Nightly lane closures will begin Monday, November 30 and happen Monday through Thursday until the work is complete, which is expected to take two weeks.

ROGERS, Ark. — Repairs due to a vehicle collision with the Olive Street Bridge over Interstate 49 in Rogers will require alternating lane closures of the northbound lanes of I-49, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, nightly lane closures will begin Monday, November 30 and happen Monday through Thursday until the work is complete, which is expected to take two weeks. 

These closures will occur from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each day.

Maximum load widths will be restricted to 10 feet.

Traffic will be controlled by advanced warning signs and vertical panels. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
