FORT SMITH, Ark. — The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) reported a crash that was impacting all lanes of southbound traffic on I-540 in Fort Smith around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 18.
The Fort Smith Police Department confirmed multiple vehicles were involved.
ARDOT reported injuries but did not elaborate on how many people were injured.
As of 4:36 p.m., the left lane was opened to drivers to pass by the scene. By 5:19 p.m., the scene was cleared.
