BARLING, Ark. — An overturned semi-truck spilled oil and diesel on Highway 22 and Highway 549 in Barling on Dec. 19 at 2:24 p.m.
The accident closed all lanes going eastbound initially, but the Barling City Administrator confirmed traffic was backed up in all directions for a couple of hours.
According to the Sebastian County Sheriff's Office, hazmat crews responded to the scene. The city said the fire chief and police chief were also on the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The incident has been cleared.
