Police: Scooter driver dead after crash on Wedington Drive in Fayetteville

FPD confirms the crash happened around 8:45 a.m. on June 28, killing Fayetteville resident Michael Foster O'Bryan.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A crash between a scooter and a vehicle ended in the death of a 65-year-old on Wedington Drive, according to the Fayetteville Police Department (FPD).

FPD confirms the crash happened around 8:45 a.m. on June 28, killing Fayetteville resident Michael Foster O'Bryan.

A crash report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety said that the second vehicle, a Dodge Challenger, was traveling west on Wedington Drive while O'Bryan was traveling east.

O'Bryan then turned left in front of the second vehicle, being struck. DPS says that the impact caused significant injuries to O'Bryan, who later succumbed to his injuries.
