LOGAN COUNTY, Ark. — The Logan County Sheriff's Office announced that a teenage boy was killed in a crash with an 18-wheeler on a sharp curve along North State Highway 109.
The wreck happened on Friday, Jan. 13 in northeastern Logan County between Scranton and Morrison Bluff. Officials say several members of the teen's family were "hurt bad."
Arkansas State Police were the officials on the scene.
"Our thoughts and prayers go to the family and to the law enforcement, ambulance, rescue, and fire department members who helped out on a very tough rescue and accident scene," Logan County Sheriff's Office said in a post on Friday.
The sheriff's office also said the family lived in the county.
