Delta announces new nonstop flights to Detroit, Salt Lake City out of XNA

"The addition of these nonstop flights will catalyze growth for both XNA and NWA," XNA CEO Aaron Burkes said.

HIGHFILL, Ark. — The Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) announced on Aug. 17 that Delta Airlines will soon have nonstop flights to Detroit and Salt Lake City.

The nonstop to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport will begin on Nov. 11 this year. XNA says the service will operate six times a week, departing Northwest Arkansas at 5 p.m.

The nonstop to Salt Lake City International Airport will begin on Feb. 13, 2025. This flight will be daily and leave XNA at 5:50 p.m.

“Direct flights to DTW and SLC have been frequently requested by Northwest Arkansas residents. We are pleased that Delta Air Lines is offering highly desired routes that will increase connectivity to and from Northwest Arkansas," said XNA CEO Aaron Burkes.

"The addition of these nonstop flights will catalyze growth for both XNA and NWA," Burkes added.
