FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — You may want to pull out the sunscreen and shades to prepare for this weekend's Razorback Football game! High humidity values and clear skies will work together to heat things up across Northwest Arkansas this weekend. It'll be a hot and muggy day for football fans at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Kickoff

The afternoon game will start at 3:15 p.m., right around the hottest part of the day. Things kickoff with temperatures in the upper 80s, but humidity values will make it feel closer to the 90s. The few high clouds in the sky won't do much to hold off the heat and high UV index values.

Halftime

By halftime, temperatures will officially reach their highs for the day near 87 degrees. Heat index values will stay slightly above the high throughout most of the game. The shade will be crucial in keeping cool. The wind will stay light from the east at around 5 mph.

Final quarter

By the time we near the end of the game, temperatures should start to slightly cool down. Feels-like temperatures will be in the upper 80s through the evening with skies expected to stay clear. Muggy conditions and warm air will make it a scorcher of a game day. We may see a few cooling breezes, but wind speeds are expected to stay between 5 to 10 mph.

The weather is forecasted to be clear and sunny for game day, but hot air will make it a bit uncomfortable. If you're going to call the Hogs, it's best to prepare for the heat.
