ARKANSAS, USA — For a live list of school and business closings across our area, click here.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for most of 5COUNTRY on Sunday, January 21. Sunday night into Monday morning, ice began to cover roads and major highways across the state.
The ice is expected to last until mid-morning Monday. This will not be our largest ice storm, but it'll be just enough to potentially cause power outages, slick road conditions, and school closings in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
