Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for NW Arkansas and the River Valley

A line of showers/storms is pushing through and some of those storms could be on the stronger side.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the counties shaded in pink until 4AM, it includes all of NW Arkansas and the River Valley.

For tonight, the River Valley is under a Level 2 out of 5 for severe weather. NW Arkansas is under a Level 1.

A cold front is currently pushing through, which is bringing a line of showers and storms with it. Some of the storms could be on the stronger side or even severe.

The main threat if any storm turns severe would be damaging winds up to 60+mph and large hail. There has already been reports of small hail across eastern Oklahoma 

To break down the timing of the storms where you live:

NW Arkansas: NOW until 12AM

River Valley: 10pm-2am

Stay weather aware throughout tonight. We will be keeping a close eye on it.
