Another cold day ahead of a weekend warmup, but it don't get used to it!

Friday morning will likely be the coldest of the week with wind chill values as low so the mid 20s!

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Friday morning is shaping up to be quiet chilly! Actual air temperatures are likely to fall below or very near freezing across most of the area, with wind chill values into the mid 20s. Frost is likely across most of the area. Those that don't park their vehicles in a garage may want to budget a few extra minutes into their morning routine to scape their windshields!

Skies stay clear through the end of the work week, but clouds are quick to move into the area once southern flow returns Friday evening. Southern wind will be quick to heat temperatures over the weekend, pushing highs into the upper 60s and 70s by Sunday.

Our weekend warm up won't last long before another cold front drops across the area on Monday and cools temperatures back into the 50s. Cool, but normal, fall temperatures are expected through much of Thanksgiving week.

Rain chances are on the rise Wednesday and Thursday as a more active pattern sets up across the US. Although it is too far out to get a read on specific timing and risks, rain will likely cause holiday travel impacts. Shower chances linger around 40% as of now for Wednesday.
