JOHNSON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in Johnson County Wednesday near Harmony and Highway 103 in the foothills of the Boston Mountains.
Johnson County Sheriff Jimmy Stephens told 5NEWS damages consisted of trees down, damaged roofs and a couple of chicken houses had structural damage. No injuries have been reported from the tornado.
Debris from the storm was indicated on the radar. Crews are still cleaning the impacted areas.
Members of the National Weather Service are in Johnson County surveyed the damage Thursday midday.

SURVEY SUMMARY: THIS TORNADO STARTED SOUTHWEST OF THE TOWN OF HARMONY, MOVING NORTHEAST THROUGH TOWN, EVENTUALLY LIFTING NORTHEAST OF HARMONY. MAINLY TREE DAMAGE WAS NOTED, WITH TREE LIMBS SNAPPED, UPROOTED, OR TRUNKS SNAPPED. SOME LIGHT ROOF DAMAGE WAS ALSO NOTED TO SOME STRUCTURES.
