Heavy snow is falling across Northwest Arkansas and is starting to accumulate and make for dangerous driving conditions on roads and overpasses. A mixture of snow/rain will make its way to the River Valley this evening, but with less accumulation.
A few notes from Garrett Lewis in the Weather Center on what we can expect to see today
KEY POINTS:
- Totals continue to trend higher with NW Arkansas getting higher snow rates during the day on Sunday.
- Be aware of slick and wet roads
- It's also going to linger after dark and with higher totals... road problems could continue into Monday morning.
- School closings are possible Monday morning.
