Ashton is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors in Mass Communication and an Alumna of the Alpha Omicron Pi, XI chapter. She was born in Fort Smith, AR and attended high school at the Poteau Senior High.
Ashton moved back to the area after graduating to work for 5NEWS. You can find her spending her spare time at the dog park, hiking, and taking in the scenery of the many outdoor opportunities in our area.

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KFSM) — The chief of the Fayetteville Police Department is retiring after 34 years. Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor submitted his letter of resignation Monday (August 19) to Mayor Lioneld Jordan after 13 years as head of the police force.
