POTEAU, Okla. (KFSM) — The skies over Poteau will be full of color as the Poteau Balloon Festival takes off Friday (Oct. 18) at the LeFlore County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $5 for ages 4 and up. ROGERS (KFSM) — Oakdale Middle School is hoping to help prevent teen vaping by holding prevention sessions. Today, Kelli Butcher, a nurse with the Arkansas Department of Health is leading the three sessions for sixth, seventh and eighth grades. “It starts in middle school,” Butcher said. “The numbers are smaller, obviously, the numbers increase as the student get older. BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge is hosting the second Arkansas Youth Vaping Summit Wednesday (Oct. 9). The summit will be held at Bentonville High School from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The summit is open to the public. Educators, parents, healthcare providers, lawmakers and law enforcement are all encouraged to attend. There will be several speakers including doctors, legislators and representatives from the Attorney General’s office.
