    FORT SMITH (KFSM) – A local man has died following an accident involving a vehicle and motorized scooter Friday (July 31) in Fort Smith. Fort Smith Police said Bobby Anderson was killed in the crash at the intersection of North 50th Street and Midland Boulevard. Police said at this time no charges have been filed.

  • Teenager Killed In Deadly Crash Under Fayetteville Flyover

    FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- A 16-year-old male is dead after crashing his truck into a pillar under the Fayetteville Flyover Friday (May 29), according to Arkansas State Police. The accident happened at 5:10 p.m.  Police said the teen was driving a red Dodge pickup eastbound on the Fullbright Expressway when he crashed into a pillar under the flyover, then spun several times.   • Crews Respond To House Fire In Arkoma

    ARKOMA (KFSM) –  An investigation is underway following a house fire in Arkoma on Sunday (May 17), according to police. Fire crews responded to reports of a house on fire around 7 a.m. Sunday at a residence located at 428 Sherman Avenue. No one was home at the time of the fire, police said.     FAYETTEVILLE- (KFSM)   A  Fayetteville man is behind bars Sunday (April 5th) facing some serious accusations. This according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.     (CNN) –A female nurse at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas has tested positive for Ebola after a preliminary test, the state’s health agency said. Confirmatory testing will be conducted Sunday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. Test results are expected to be announced later in the day.
