    NORMAN, Okla. (KFSM) — The body of a man found in a truck recovered from Lake Thunderbird may be related to a missing person case, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).     SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — A rare sight on Interstate 49 as graffiti decorated a retaining wall of the new Highway 612 ramp Sunday (June 3). A crew from the City of Springdale worked fast Monday (June 4) morning to remove it. The graffiti read MS-13 which is an international gang that has up to 10,000 members in the United States.   • ARDOT: Lanes Are Open On I-49 North Of The Tunnel

    WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) — Interstate 49 NB inside the Bobby Hopper Tunnel, and north of the tunnel, was closed because of a series of accidents, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation’s web page. There was a reported two miles of back up and the Interstate was closed for about an hour.

  • Little Flock Home Destroyed By Fire

    LITTLE FLOCK, Ark. (KFSM) — Six fire engines, one water tanker and other emergency personnel are working to extinguish a house fire at the 11000 block of Clover Lane in Little Flock Sunday (May 6) afternoon. The Benton County Sheriff’s Department, two police vehicles and an ambulance are on scene, too, according to 5NEWS photojournalist Gage Kinzer.     UNION COUNTY, Ark. (KFSM) —  An elderly man died when could not get out of his burning car Saturday (May 5) night, Arkansas State Police (ASP) reported. Around 11:15 p.m., A.C.     FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) —  Shortly after 12 a.m. Saturday (April 28), a Springdale resident was killed when his SUV left the road, went through a yard, and struck two trees, according to Arkansas State Police (ASP).   • NWS: Survey Areas Of Arkansas Damaged By Friday’s Storm

    LITTLE ROCK (KFSM) — The National Weather Service (NWS) has completed its first survey around the Mountain Home area caused by Friday’s (April 13) storm. They determined straight line winds in excess of 85 miles per hour (mph) hit the area, and that the  damage is consistent with straight line or microburst winds.     NORTHWEST ARKANSAS (KFSM) —  The family of a missing woman, Megan Huckaby (Rogers),  is making a big effort in finding her.  The 22-year-old has been missing for seven months and her family fears for her safety.
