BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – Benton County Sheriff Kelley Cradduck has traveled to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota with his ill wife, according to a post on the Benton County Sheriff’s Facebook page.

Kelley Cradduck’s wife Sabrina Cradduck went to the clinic because she has been “very ill” for several months with no diagnosis from local doctors or specialists, the post states. The clinic they traveled to was recognized as the best hospital in the country for 2014-2015 by U.S. News & World Report, according to the Mayo Clinic website.

While gone, Chief Richie Conner has stepped in to fill Cradduck’s role.

When the Cradducks arrived in Minnesota, they were told they would have to stay in the area for much longer than they expected to, according to the post. Medical personnel from the clinic told them February 2015 was the earliest Sabrina Cradduck could be released from the clinic, the post states.

“Sabrina is undergoing numerous procedures and tests daily,” the post states.

In order to help pay for lodging for the Cradducks, a GoFundMe page was launched for them. To view it, click here.

Kelley Cradduck first confirmed his wife’s illness in October when he announced he would delegate some duties to Conner to free up more time so he could help take care of his wife.

He resumed his full time schedule at the beginning of November.
