FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — The first of the final three chancellor candidates is visiting the University of Arkansas campus and will be holding a public forum on Wednesday (Oct. 7).

April Mason, who is provost and senior vice president at Kansas State University, will be giving a presentation, “Moving the Needle: Thoughts on taking the University of Arkansas into the future,” according to a press release.

The presentation will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Faulkner Center for Performing Arts.

Mason will answer questions from the audience after her presentation.

The two other chancellor candidates, Joseph Steinmetz and Jeffrey Vitter, will also be holding similar public forums. Steinmetz will host on Oct. 13 at 10:30 a.m. and Vitter will host on Oct. 15 at 10:30 a.m.
