BELLA VISTA, Ark. (KFSM) —Siloam Springs Police have arrested a man accused of fleeing from an arrest on foot following a multi-county pursuit in a stolen vehicle.
Clayton Ray Scroggins, 33, of Fayetteville has been arrested. He is facing charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental operations and violating parole.
Police say the pursuit originated in McDonald County, Missouri. Scroggins then took off on foot from the stolen vehicle in the area of E. Lancashire and Leighton Lane in Bella Vista.
It’s reported that Scroggins and another man stole a vehicle from a Harps in West Fork. It’s unclear at this time if it’s the same vehicle he used to flee from officers in the multi-county pursuit.
Scroggins is being held on a $7,500 bond at the Benton County Detention Center. He has a hearing set for March 11, 2019, at the Benton County Circuit Court.
