U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issue small craft advisory for Arkansas River

USACE said heavy rainfall in recent days have caused "strong currents and large debris" that may be dangerous to boats, "during high flows."

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) have issued a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River on Tuesday, March 26.

USACE said heavy rainfall in recent days have caused "strong currents and large debris" that may be dangerous to boats, "during high flows."

Flows at Dardanelle were reported above 100,000 cubic feet per second and crest bigger than that "will make its way downstream over the next few days," USACE said.
